Job Summary:

As a Drops Sales Support Associate, your role will be working directly with the sales and fulfillment teams in account management and development, product education, promotional in-store events, and pulling, preparing and fulfilling of sales orders for delivery. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a desire to be an integral part of these busy teams is crucial. This is a hybrid inside/outside sales support position so a willingness to travel regularly with some local and longer trips expected and a valid driver’s license is a must.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Must be an expert on Drops’ products, understanding and educating on the key selling points of each, answering impromptu questions with confidence and detail
• Collaboratively works with sales team, traveling and assisting depending on weekly needs in sales and fulfillment; working with direction from a sales rep each week, providing support and assisting in account management as directed by the sales rep(s)
• Assist sales reps in collecting monies due on invoices, and notifying accounts when they are approaching 30 days on unpaid invoices, if requested by the sales team
• Assistance in cold calling, outreach over the phone and by email, collecting and inputting of orders, dating orders for delivery based on route needs and best efficiency
• Perceptive and intuitive, modifying sales pitch and communication style to meet each individual store’s needs, noting decrease or changes in consistency/size of orders, product line reduction, product placement, etc.
• Enters and maintains concise activity notes into Distru after every store visit or meaningful customer contact; sharing these insights with the sales team or rep
• Monitors team email, responding within four hours to all emails (customer or internal)
• Verifies orders match invoice, tags, and manifests before leaving warehouse and double-checks again at store before dropping off
• Returns all products, paperwork, and monies to the officer before going home for the day or immediately upon return from a sales trip
• Attends weekly and mandatory sales meetings, actively participates in meetings, sales trainings, and exercises.
• Shares in sales meetings and with sales team concerns about new or current accounts, offers insight and ideas to help teammates.
• Ensures secure and safe storage and management of all products while transporting them to the customer’s location in accordance with Drops SOPs and OLCC guidelines
• Makes arrangements for delivery or account help when needed or when using PTO or unavailable at least one week prior
• Prioritizes deliveries when products are low in stock and communicates effectively with stores and fulfillment team
• Communicates effectively and frequently with sales team about strategies for shared chains
• Actively works with the fulfillment team assembling orders or as directed
• Works collaboratively with fulfillment and packaging team to meet customer needs
• Maintains compliance with Oregon Liquor Control Commission and the Oregon Department of Agriculture laws and guidelines

• Builds enthusiasm for the Drops’ products by providing education, budtender training sessions, providing samples, and being readily available
• Observes trends, maintains detailed notes, and thinks creatively about ways to improve sales and morale at each dispensary
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and quotas
• Strong ability to multitask and plan ahead and make decisions/adjustments on the go
• Positive and collaborative attitude and open to feedback from management and coworkers
• Assists other departments cooperatively when required

Requirements:

• OLCC Marijuana Handler's License
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Preferred Experience: 1+ years’ experience working in customer service. 1+ years' experience working in product fulfillment or sales.

Work Location and Schedule: This is an hourly position with a projected 40-hour work week and occasional extended, evening, and weekend hours. The regular weekly schedule is Monday through Thursday 8a - 530p, and Friday 9a - 1p. This is a hybrid inside/outside sales support position. You will be reporting to the Clackamas warehouse often for order pickups, assisting fulfillment workflows and objectives, attending sales and company-wide meetings, and dropping off monies collected. Work schedules are subject to change at the discretion of management and the needs of the company.
